Aiken—At Marblehead, Q., June 1, 1897, Mrs. Minnie L. Aiken, beloved wife of Herbert L. Aiken, aged 34 years, 1 month and 6 days.
Minnie L. Scott, the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Scott, was born at Bedford, 0., April 25, 1863. She was married to Herbert L. Aiken at Bed¬ ford on August 30,1882, Of this happy union four children were born, three of whom, together with her husband, survive her, Pearl . M., Nellie 0. and Mmota G.; Lawrence Albert having preceded her to the great beyond June 17,1891.
Mrs. Aiken was a woman of many rare qualities and her kind and loving- disposition won for her a large circle of friends. ',— )/- S W
Her funeral occured at the residence of her brother, D. C. Scott, Jr.,on Grace street, Bedford, O., Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Eev. Thos. Lees, of Cleve¬ land, conducting the services. The in¬ terment took place in Bedford ceme¬ tery, and her remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of sorrowing and sympa¬ thizing friends and relatives.
~~^Mrs. Minnie L., wife of Conductor Aiken, of the Lakeside & Marblehead Railway, died at her home in Marble- heed, on Tuesday, June 1st, aged 34 years, of consumption. She leaves three little children. Funeral services were held Thursday at the house. The remains were taken to Bebford, Ohio, for interment. 6>-^~/W7
