About this collection

The Ohio Memory Digital Collection is comprised of over 4,500 selections from libraries, museums, and historical societies from across the state (but not including OHS). The collection traverses the full length of Ohio's rich and influential history. Among the treasures that can be found in this collection are photos like the Wright Brother's first flight at Kitty Hawk and Neil Armstrong's Apollo moon suit; documents such as the Treaty of Greenville; manuscript material such as a letter to Annie Oakley from Buffalo Bill Cody; an account of the Oberlin-Wellington Rescue; and some of Ohio's very earliest inhabitants.
