Description	This 1918 catalog of the DeVilbiss Manufacturing Company includes a price list and illustrations of the company's atomizers, perfumers, and sprayers. The catalog is 70 pages long and measures 4" x 9" (10.16 x 22.86 cm). DeVilbiss Manufacturing Company began as a medical supply firm after Dr. Allen DeVilbiss developed a spray atomizer to apply medication to patients' throats. Soon other commercial applications were discovered-perfume atomizers and spray painting (especially useful in heavy manufacturing). On January 1, 1970 the DeVilbiss Company merged with the Champion Spark Company and was purchased by Illinois Tool Works in 1990.
