Dear cousin
It is with pleasure that I seat my=

ter which came to hand several
weeks ago but as I have not had
the chance to write to you and
when I had Bas would not write
any, so I think I am excusable
Mother has had the phthisic very
bad but is some better to day H. [illegible]
got her foot burnt she has been very
bad with it but is some better.
I am agoing to school this summer
I study arithmetic grammer & c
I do not like to go to school no time
there is a average of 25 schollars
