Particular attention hasbeen'focustd on the National Jewish Hospital re¬ cently by medical, authorities, through the investigations into the.nature and causes of tuberculosis; carried on in the research laboratories of the hos¬ pital, and a number of distinctive awards from lieading scientific socie¬ ties have been granted to the research department in recognition of its con¬ tribution^ to the knowledge of tuber culosis.
