The committee for B'nai B'rlth's annual Spring Dance has come up with another feature to help give members and thoir guests added pleasure.
Ralph Granada, held over for a second week at the Palm Gardens Nite Club, will give a performance at intermission time. He Is famous for pantomlne Imitations and has an endless supply of material.
The dance is free to all paid up members of B'nal B'rith and their escorts.   Arrangements have been made to pay dues at the door.
UJF Asks 25%
Increase For Pledses
The Board of Directors of the United Jewish Fund an¬ nounces that it has accepted the objective of asking all con¬ tributors for at least 25fv' more than last year.
Richard J. Abel, president of the Fund, stated:
"A Special Goal Setting committee, under the. chairmanship of Fred Yenkln, this year's Campaign chairman, devoted a whole evening to discussing the programs of the agencies included in the United Jewish Fund.
Mr. Yenkin's Committee finally concluded that the needs for 1953 are aa great or greater than In 1948.
In  order to  achieve  a  result  which  would   be  comparable   to  that year    In which the UJF raised Its greatest amount—It Is agreed that all prospects be asked to contribute at least 25% more. This motion was carried unanlm-

prof. Haber, who Is international¬ ly recognized as an economist, au¬ thor and authority on world refu¬ gee problema, wlU speak on "A People in Flight," the story of world Jewish reconstruction.

Twig 89 Sponsoring Annual Benefit
Twig 89, one of the most energe¬ tic of the Twig groups made up of women of the J.ewlah community. Is sponsoring Its annual benefit card party at the Jewish Center next Wednesday, 8:30 p. m.
Many bridge and canasta clubs will bring their entire membership to this entertaining party.

SOL LUGKMA*^ of Cincinnati, vice-chairman of' the United Jew¬ ish Appeal, addressed the Goal Set¬ ting meeting and discussed the needs of that agency. He pointed out that there are 1,500,000 Jews in Israel, of whom more than, half have entered the country since 1948.
