involved in blarion, Ohio, woman's suffrage a c t i v i t i e s . She
served r:) n the executive com. it tee of tihe [ Marion, Ohio? I Harding-for-
President Women's Club, the suffrage committee of the Women's
Centuiry Club, and as chairman of the Marion County League of
Woinen Vo'ters .

The papers of Marguerite Woods date from 1919 t o 1920 and p e r t a i n
t o her involvement in woman's suffrage a c t i v i t i e s . Included are
an announcement regarding a c t i v i t i e s planned t o c e l e b r a t e the
adoption of the 19th amendment, a r e s o l u t i o n of the Marion Women's
Century Club supporting Warren G. Harding for p r e s i d e n t , and a
l e t t e r from Frank B. W i l l i s concerning Marguerite Woods' support
f o r the Sheppard- Towner B i l l .
