Mr. Speaker.
The House has agreed to the resolution from tlie Senate, appointing a joint committee to wait on his Excellency the Governor, and have ap¬ pointed a commiitee of two on their part. The House has passed a resolution appointing a joint committee of members on the part of
the Senate, and three members on the ])art of the House to report joint Rules for the Government of both Houses during the present ses¬ sion, to which they requested the concurrence of the Senate.
The Speaker ofthe Senate announced Mr. Blackburn, a committee on ihc part of the Senate to wait on his Excellency the Governor, a- greeably to joint resolution.
The joint resolution from the House, appointing a joint committee to report joint Rules for the government of hoih Houses during die pre- sent session, was considered, amended by filling the blank vviih die word "two'^ and agreed to—and Messrs. M'Mechan, and M'Nutt appointed a committee on the part of the Senate.
Ordered, That the House of Representatives be informed thereof.

Resolved, That the joint Rules adopted (.nd in force for the gov¬ ernment of both Houses at their last session, l>e adopted for the gov¬ ernment of both Hous2s at the present session, until others are a- dopted.

M.
